About Academy of Dental Technology

Academy of Dental Technology (ADT) was formed in 2003 for the purpose of owning and operating schools across the United States, which focus on specialized skills in high demand.  ADT continually strives to provide the type of training programs that best satisfy the changing needs of students, industry, and business.

With headquarters in Virginia Beach, Virginia, ADT provides job-oriented training in high technology areas of industry and business.  Our curricular vision is focused on dental assistant and dental office management programs that were established based on the local employer desires and needs.  Our students are trained using state-of-the-art equipment and an actual dental office, which allows individuals to gain experience with the actual equipment and facilities that they will find in the real workplace.  Our training affords individuals entering or re-entering today’s competitive workforce with practical, skill specific training essential to the success of their future.

ADT was established in March 2003 in Virginia Beach, Virginia.  Our modern facility is perfect for training students for the working world, since our classes are conducted in an actual dental office.  Our air-conditioned office has approximately 2,400 square feet, including four dental operatories, one private office, lecture area, and laboratory/computer area for hands-on training in Soft Dent^©.

ADT is certified by SCHEV to operate in Virginia, the facilities it occupies, and the equipment utilized in our training courses complies with all federal, state, and local ordinances and regulations, including those relating to fire safety, building safety, and health.  We are conveniently located, with ample parking for students.
